Shipping
Our team recently supervised the loading of a 77,000 MT coal cargo at an anchorage in Kalimantan, Indonesia. During pre-loading inspection, the cargo was found to be non-compliant with IMSBC Code temperature recommendations, with coal temperature exceeding 55°C.
To ensure safe loading, we implemented a thin-layer trimming method on each barge, allowing the cargo to cool to acceptable temperatures before transfer. Throughout the operation, we conducted continuous temperature checks, barge inspections, and onboard monitoring to ensure all coal loaded met the required safety condition. Although the procedure extended the loading timeline, the vessel ultimately sailed safely and arrived at the discharging port without incident.
A successful demonstration of our ability to manage high-risk bulk cargo operations while maintaining cargo safety.

Coal Cargo Supervision
To ensure safe and compliant loading of the 77,000 MT coal cargo in Kalimantan, our team implemented a structured supervision workflow designed to control cargo temperature, maintain stability, and ensure full alignment with IMSBC Code procedures. Each stage of the operation was executed with strict monitoring to prevent safety risks and maintain cargo integrity during transfer to the vessel. Join the team as we ensure safe bulk cargo handling through continuous monitoring, proper trimming practices, and reliable reporting—providing clients with trusted oversight for high-risk cargo operations.
